Thanks to Elzbieta Sajka and the Pandolfis Consort, for catering to my passion for the sound of early instruments and performing new music for their extraordinary ensemble. Writing for Ela’s viola d’amore and Hermann’s theorbo was a great pleasure. Thanks also to Myron Rosenblum, President of the Viola D’Amore Society, who graciously invited me to his home to demonstrate the capability of the viola d’amore first hand.
